Mission Statement

Ranachqua Foundation
Campership Program

To enable Bronx Cub and Boy Scouts to reap the same benefits of attending summer camp – character-building, teamwork skills, leadership development, scout skills, and love of the outdoors – enjoyed by our founders in the 1920’s and the 1930’s, by providing Campership fee subsidies to those in need to attend GNYC summer camp at either Cub World at Camp Alpine or Ten Mile River Scout Reservation.

Hirsch-Ranachqua
College Assistance Grants

To encourage Scout retention and achievement through merit College Assistance grants (value up to $10,000, based on leadership and service to Scouting and community), to graduating Boy Scouts entering college in the fall, who reside in and are registered to traditional Bronx troops, provided they continue to give leadership and service to Scouting and/or the community while in college.
